About Us

OXYEGONE began as a memoir but became a mission — to speak truth, share grace, and remind every soul that their story is still being written.

About Us

The Story Behind the Ashes

Who we are:

OXYEGONE is more than a memoir — it’s a sacred unraveling. A journey through fire, doubt, silence, and surrender. It’s the place where pain gave way to purpose, where God didn’t just restore what was broken — He repurposed it. These words weren’t written for perfection. They were written for the wandering. For the hearts who’ve questioned, the souls who’ve cracked, and the voices who thought they’d gone unheard. This is a story shaped by loss, refined by grace, and reborn in truth.
OXYEGONE is what happens when the ashes are no longer something to hide — but something to offer. It’s for the one who’s still in the fire. It’s for the one who made it out. And it’s for the one who doesn’t yet know they’re being remade. Because brokenness doesn’t get the final word. Redemption does.

About Me

Meet Marty Corey

Who I am:

I’m a twin, a mother, a wife, and a Catholic woman with grit in her soul and bread in her lungs. I’ve walked through loss, wrestled with doubt, and stood in the wreckage of what I thought was the end—only to be met by a God who rewrote my story with grace. I’ve been lost and found, broken and rebuilt, and carried through fire by the same Savior I once questioned. My life is a patchwork of pain and praise, stitched together by mercy.
I write because silence never saved me — but truth did. I create because stories are sacred ground where healing begins. And I share because someone out there is still holding their breath, wondering if their voice matters. If that’s you, I hope these pages help you exhale. You’re not alone. You never were.

Why I Write

I write for the ones who feel invisible — for the mothers carrying quiet heartbreak, and for the daughters trying to remember who they were before life whispered shame. I write because God doesn’t waste pain — He weaves it. From my memoir OXYEGONE to upcoming works like Super ‘J’ and Mariam’s Rosary Guide for Kids, this mission lives in every word: to turn memory into ministry, and let hope have the final word.

“This book found me when I didn’t even know I was searching.”
I read OXYEGONE in one sitting, tears running down my face. Marty’s story reminded me that God’s grace reaches into the deepest cracks of our lives. It’s not just a memoir — it’s a mirror.

“It gave me permission to feel broken and still be beloved.”

Marty’s honesty is rare and powerful. As a mother and a Catholic woman myself, I saw pieces of my own story in hers. I’ve already passed it on to two friends.
